Creating an online course has a bit of a learning curve.  Converting old lesson plans from my teaching days to online learning has been challenging.  My PowerPoint presentations turned screencasts are good examples of these differences. In a face to face classroom, it is good to have lots of questions while lecturing. This keeps the audience participating and interested. With video, that option is not available.  I also miss the verbal and non-verbal feedback I got from the classroom. Based upon your experience revising your instructional design document this week, reflect on what you learned from your peer's feedback. What did you learn about your work? What did you change as a result? What did you not change? Why? LTEC Week 3 I have had a crazy few weeks, and I didn’t put the time into the design document week two that I should have. My design document wasn’t fully complete when I turned it in the first time.   Now that I finally planned learning activities, I realize how much time goes into it.   In the classroom after a few years of experience, I got pretty good at throwing up PowerPoint, a few worksheets, and a few activities and labs that are team planned. Planning for an online class requires me to rethink everything. Showing videos all the time is not the best way to teach.
